Google悄然撤下PageRank PR值退出歷史戲臺

北京時間十月十六號消息兒，據海外電視臺報導，Google推出實驗室版網站管理職員具的同時，悄然撤下了爬行動物計數中的PageRank局部。

今日google有關辦公擔任職務的人已公開說谷歌將刪去工具欄的PageRank，PageRank不會列入算法中，以下是原文：

We’ve been telling people for a long time that they shouldn’t focus on PageRank so much; many site owners seem to think it’s the most important metric for them to track, which is simply not true. We removed it because we felt it was silly to tell people not to think about it, but then to show them the data, implying that they should look at it. :-

但到現在為止Google工具欄還是供給PageRank信息，而Google工具欄的運用者數目顯然遠遠超過網站管理職員具。

據悉早在2007年，Google就對去除Google工具欄中的PageRank功能征詢過用戶意見。但此事束之高閣。未來Google有可能會休止供給PageRank信息。然而業內之人稱，PageRank直接關系到Google的品牌，Google不會隨便作出該表決。
